Before beginning the powder coating process, the wheels underwent a thorough inspection to ensure that no cracks, curb rash, or other damage could be aggravated by the heat of the powder coating process. After confirming that the wheels were in good condition, they were removed from the vehicle, and the cleaning process began.
To prepare the wheels for powder coating, the team stripped them of any previous coatings or paint using a specialized chemical solution. Then, they sandblasted the wheels to ensure that the surface was clean and free of debris. This step is crucial to ensure that the powder coating adheres correctly and is durable.
After thoroughly cleaning and prepping the wheels, the team proceeded to the powder coating process.
